The
other side of comprehensive sex education in school believes that it
is the family’s job to teach children about the norms and practices
of safe sex and how to prevent STIs. According to the Asking about
Sex and Growing up by Joanna Cole a child's interpretation of things
is better when the child's parent or guardian is explaining the
concept to them.
